What you eat affects how you feel (part 2) …
Have you noticed how many people suffer from emotional problems these days? I don’t know about you but I feel quite sad because I believe that most of them do not realise that the cause of how they feel may be that they are suffering from trace mineral deficiencies. When you are deficient in trace minerals your body calls for help the best way it can, usually via symptoms of fatigue or feeling generally unwell.

If you feel lacking in energy a lot of the time then I encourage you to take advantage of a FREE trace mineral test when you have your next treatment at Serenity Lodge Day Spa and mention this article.
My top 3 tips for feeling better and having more energy
- Think about what you are eating – add some fresh vegetables and fruit to your diet. You will be amazed at how your body will respond. If you are not feeling as well as you would like, just give this a try and I assure you if you do it for two weeks you will really notice the difference. Remember this is the only body you will ever have so why not age comfortably, feeling great and looking good instead of feeling unwell and looking ancient beyond your years.
- Cut out sugar and watch your caffeine intake – sugar is hidden in soft drinks and alcohol. Reduce your coffee to one per day, then and add 3 or 4 fresh vegetables a day and a couple of pieces of fruit. Body image is important to most people and with these few changes you are going to not only feel good but you will look great also.
- Give yourself the gift of time – if you feel stressed, emotional, tired and just not feeling well I suggest you take time out for yourself. Please do not say you are too busy to stop, because when your body says enough is enough you will have to stop. When you nurture yourself a little you will be amazed how you will have the emotional energy to do the things you need to do and probably do them better because you feel well and energised. Give yourself time to recharge your battery as it were. Make time to go for a walk, sit in the garden, have a bubble bath, a facial or do something you really enjoy doing.
